Resource management

To create a resource:

1. Click at the top right of any Realer page.
2. Click on New resource.
3. Enter your resource name and a description.
4. Click Create resource.

Once you create your resource, you personalise it for example uploading a photo.

Create only resources that are useful for what you want to access, monitor, or control. There are limitations on the number of resources you can create.

To create a resource usage relationship:

1. Go to the resource page on Realer.
2. From the resource page, click on Utilize under the resource name.
3. Choose the privacy setting for the resource usage relationship.
4. Click Create usage relationship.

To create a relationship between a resource and a dashboard:

1. Make sure you have a usage relationship with both the resource and the dashboard that you want to connect.
2. Go to the resource page on Realer.
3. From the resource page, click on under the resource name and select Edit usage relationship.
4. From within the edit usage relationship box, search for the dashboard that you want to relate to the resource and click relate.
5. Choose the privacy setting for the relationship between the resource and the dashboard.
6. Click Create relationship.

Connect resources only to dashboards where they are useful. There are limitations on the number of resource relationships you can create.

If you're the admin of the resource, you can edit it.

To edit a resource:

1. Go to the resource page on Realer.
2. From your resource page, click on under the resource name.
3. Edit the resource.
4. When you are finished, click Update resource.

If you're the admin of the resource, you can share it to allow other people to use it on Realer.

To share a resource:

1. Go to the resource page on Realer.
2. From your resource page, click on under the resource name.
3. Click on tab Privacy.
4. Edit the resource.
5. When you are finished, click Update resource.

If you're the admin of the resource, you can delete it. Deleting a resource is a permanent action that cannot be reversed.

To delete a resource:

1. Go to the resource page on Realer.
2. From your resource page, click on under the resource name.
3. From your resource edit page, click on Delete resource at the bottom.
4. Confirm the deletion of the resource by clicking on Destroy resource.
